Wonder Genie
Her head – if it could be called such – was spinning. It felt wrapped in the proverbial fog…or was it the fog? What had happened to her? The last thing Wonder Woman remembered was foiling that museum robbery. Criminals with high-tech weapons were holding the artifacts for ransom, until she arrived and overpowered them. Then she was about to put the artifacts where they belonged, starting with that oil lamp. She reached out to pick it up…and now she was here. She tried to make sense of her environment. She didn’t seem to have a material body; she was all spirit. A spirit inside a lamp…somehow that seemed only right…after all, as a genie, her only purpose was to serve… No! She would submit to no man! Not even if she wanted to… What had that damned lamp done to her? Her head was so full of strange urges…urges to serve a master…to conjure palaces, fine foods, even a harem… NO! She was an Amazon, sent to Man’s World to be a role model to women
